Job description

SUMMARY: Provides administrative and Human Resources support.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Responds to employee's benefit questions, assists with resolution of problems regarding access to or payment of benefits, assists employees with paperwork related to filing medical claims, and processes enrollment forms and change requests.
  • Primary point of contact for HR inbox (email) and phones; answers phones promptly and responds to questions and emails. Routes calls or emails appropriately.
  • Coordinates paperwork and onboarding for new hires and students, including processing background, drug screen, badges, I-9 and NPDB and OAG reporting.
  • Schedules and coordinates new employee orientations.
  • Maintains uniform voucher program; monitors and records eligibility and processes forms.
  • Maintains employee files and databases.
  • Logs disciplinary action forms in database
  • Monitors address and name changes; gather appropriate documentation
  • Responsible for Licensure and Certification tracking and notifications
  • May assist in processing and/or submitting payroll information; troubleshoots payroll issues
  • Reviews applications and works with HR Coordinator and/or hiring manager to schedule interviews or other recruitment activities
  • Coordinates travel arrangements, as requested.
  • Assists with communication of benefit programs changes and updates.
  • Posts required labor law information.
  • Screens and routes telephone calls.
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Performs administrative assistant duties to HR Director, such as credit card reconciliation, calendar updates, managing meeting requests and other duties as requested.
  • Maintains and orders supplies for the Human Resources department.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One to two years related experience as administrative assistant or Human Resources Support.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient in typing
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, plan and organize projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

Work Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm (occasional early or late days for orientation or training set up)
Corporate Office Setting
