This is a Paid Apprenticeship, on location, at the listed city. This position is specifically for candidates without a four year degree. The employer is looking for candidates who meet the following:
  • Associate's Degree or 2 years of Community College with a focus in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • Human Resources Program or related certifications.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year previous customer facing type work experience, customer service, office experience or Military service.
  • You are Technically proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • You have a strong interest in Human Resources with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good communication and relationship management skills
  • You have a desire to work in a fast paced, high caliber and dynamic environment
  • Capability to understand and balance the impact of decisions
  • Ability to remain confident under pressure and work collaboratively to address issues
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a focus on quality results/deliverables
  • Are goal oriented and have the ability to prioritize and multitask with team members to meet objectives
  • Comfortable learning to use new tools and think analytically

This requisition is utilized for apprentice roles across the employer's business groups.
 

This is a full-time, year-long salaried position providing a structured, "earn and learn" experience.

What is the Accenture Apprenticeship Program? 

The program provides mentorship, formal learning, on-the-job training, and on-going coaching to help build skills with the opportunity to advance into a career with Accenture. 

Accenture is seeking candidates without either a US 4-year college degree or a foreign degree that is equivalent from an education and skills perspective who are curious, creative, detail oriented and collaborative. This program requires you to be in person at your local office. 

 

What type of work might be in a typical day? 

  • Closely analyze and test new components or enhancements to existing IT modules. 

  • Assist in the analysis of an organization and the design of its process and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. 

  • Learn programing skills, modern frameworks, and design thinking to build portions of applications that solve our client's business and IT challenges. 

  • Support the design of communication experiences to reach targeted audiences and marketing across multiple platforms. 

  • Monitor account activities to ensure client data protection and information security standards are maintained. 

  • Serve account teams and business groups through proactive monitoring, managing, and reporting on execution of deliverables. 

  • Work with project team members to help clients understand the performance of their business, promote data-driven decisions and design solutions to meet their business needs.

    For the HR Apprentice, the following applies:
    Build deep personalized relationships with practice/HR leaders and our employees, and proactively support our people through their life, career and project experiences.
     
    Learn how to coach and guide employees on career development, based on a strong understanding of a person's interests and aspirations and knowledge of Accenture's business.
    Learn how to provide personalized employee support connecting people to projects, coaching people on "best fit" roles, balancing career goals and business priorities.
    Learn how to have honest and transparent conversations, with compassion and empathy to help people grow, keeping both personal and key practice priorities at the forefront.
    Work closely with HR and Practice Leads to understand our business/practice strategy and current performance and use that knowledge to help coach/guide your people.
    Work with HR team to understand talent priorities and talent programs and make employees aware of specific opportunities.
    Work closely with HR Colleagues to understand how the demand for talent is evolving.
    Ensure business critical employee information is up to date and accurate (Skills, myScheduling, Performance Achievement, etc.)
    Work with the Market Unit Employee Experience Lead to coordinate the Employee Experience in the practice, including engagement, feedback, coaching and learning.
    Work with the Market Unit Inclusion & Diversity Lead to develop and execute strategies and actions to achieve I&D objectives and measure the results and key trends in the practice.
    Build deep personalized relationships with practice/HR leaders and our employees, and proactively support our people through their life, career and project experiences.
