Human Resources and Events Coordinator
The Human Resources and Events Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related responsibilities on a professional level and works closely with HR management in supporting multiple client groups and employee events. This position carries out administrative responsibilities for the day-to-day HR operations. The Human Resources and Events Coordinator handles and provides support for various employee events and well-being programs within the organization. This position requires an extremely perceptive, professionally mature person capable of relating to and helping individuals at all levels within the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
1-3 years of general experience in HR, event planning/coordination, and administrative support.
Assist employees with the following activities:
- Workday access and navigation
- ID and building access cards
- Safety glass vouchers
Coordinate and administer various Human Resources processes as assigned:
- Distribute pay vouchers weekly
- Maintain office supplies and make HR purchases
- Manage and reconcile department Procurement Card
- Generate department purchase orders
- Monitor suggestion boxes throughout Troup County, partner with leadership to address/implement suggestions as needed
- Maintain office supplies
- General office administrative responsibilities including but not limited to mailroom coordination, backup other HR staff as needed
- Assist team to plan and execute annual, quarterly, weekly and as-needed employee events and activities
- Comply with safety rules, environmental regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Perform other responsibilities or HR projects as assigned
Office and non-climate controlled manufacturing environment. Some lifting is required (up to 40 lbs.). Travel is required between multiple site locations in LaGrange and West Point locations.
