Human Resource Administrator
AAA Roofing, Inc. is a commercial/ industrial roofing contractor headquartered in Riverside, CA and operating in several Western states. Specializing in new construction, existing building re-roofs, tenant improvements, maintenance, and leak detection.

AAA Roofing is seeking an experienced Human Resource Administrator who is self-motivated, extremely organized, bilingual (English and Spanish, and experienced in California law. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day support in Human Resources and maintaining an open line of communication with Human Resource Manager.
The Human Resources Administrator must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to stick to tight timelines, be comfortable dealing with a variety of individuals including employees and upper management and have a willingness to learn about all facets of growing our brand.
Essential Functions:

- Serve as a resource on Human Resources issues, effectively communicate Human Resources policies, and explain Human Resources processes and procedures. Resolve basic issues as appropriate. Refer other issues to Human Resources manager for resolution.
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and applicant disposition with hiring managers, Human Resources staff, and/or supervisors.
- Support and coordinate employment activities (transactions and documentation). Assist in onboarding and exit process of staff.
- Explain applicable disability and leave procedures and generate related correspondence; update and maintain reports to track leaves.
- Assist in the communication of the annual performance appraisal process; review and track incoming performance appraisal forms.
- Oversee employee offboarding process, including separation paperwork.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Provide general administrative support for Human Resources staff.
- Various duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong ability to multitask and remain calm in emergencies.
- Superb conflict resolution skills
- Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
- Strong knowledge of California laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required.

Work Environment:
- This job operates in a business casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands:

The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time, non-overtime exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must be able to work overtime as needed.

- Position may require travel. Mileage reimbursed.
