Job Description
Overview: Maintain day-to-day operations of the HR Department. Carries out responsibilities for HR policies, procedures and programs in the following functional areas: recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations and benefits, and performance management.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s Human Resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting and retention.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Provides support and guidance to HR, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to a resolution
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; follows policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law.

- Builds and maintains company culture
- Stay up to date with employment law changes and common industry practices as it pertains to remote and hybrid work.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in and knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources
- · Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with employees
- · Maintains strict confidentiality
- · Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
- · Excellent oral and written communication skills
- · Excellent time management and attention to detail
- · Ability to multitask
- · Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- · Bachelor’s degree required in Business, HR or related field, or equivalent amount of experience in the HR field
