As the HR Generalist you will be involved in all facets of HR. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Human Resources Generalist Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruitment/New Hire Process/Orientation/Terminations
- Record Maintenance
- Benefits Administration
- Regulatory compliance and reporting
- Policy development and documentation
- Medicare notices
- FMLA/ADA accommodations and leave administration
- Write job descriptions
- Benefits reconciliation
- OSHA log and workers' compensation management
- Employee relations and investigations
Computer Skills
- Must be able to use a computer and its functions including email, internet, documents, etc.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Word for employee memos, letters, etc.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel to reconcile benefit statements, employee spreadsheets, etc.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience
- Previous HR Experience is required
- Accounting and/or Payroll experience a plus
- Previous Dealership Experience helpful but not required
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
