- Serve as day-to-day HR Business Partner and advisor to Americas employees
- Develop relationships and influence across different businesses and diverse workforces to help drive organizational HR initiatives
- Provide coaching and guidance on HR related matters to managers and employees
- Successfully lead resolution for employee relations issues, including performance discussions, investigations, and terminations
- Proactively use reasoning & thinking skills to offer solutions and effectively drive results
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Participate in annual benefits renewal and open enrollment execution
- Serve as a partner and conduit to Global TA team for Americas recruiting needs
- Facilitate performance management process for employees and managers
- Provide creative ideas to execute employee engagement activities
- Partner with Head of Americas HR to bring decentralized practices into harmony for current businesses and any future acquisitions
- Facilitate onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding processes for employees
- Oversee and perform work to administer and execute Human Resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, payroll and leave; immigration filings, HRIS, employee relations, talent management, rewards and recognition, occupational health and safety, and training and development
- Work with Head of Americas HR on driving global HR initiatives into the organization, such as DE&I, HRIS integration, employee recognition, and career development
- Participate in project work to help with meeting HR AOP goals
- Attend occasional early morning and evening meetings with India Global HR team
- Travel domestic quarterly; annual travel to corporate office in India for HR strategy planning session and collaborate with Global HR team members
- Other HR related work as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, business, or other related field
- 10-15 years' experience working in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner
- Ability to work 2-3 days per week in our Irving/Las Colinas office
- Experience in technology travel/tourism industry preferred
- Ability to work with employees in different time zones and attend early morning or evening meetings as needed
- Occasional domestic travel; annual travel to corporate office in India for HR strategy planning session and collaborate with Global HR team members
- Employee relations experience successfully managing employee relations issues, performance discussions, investigations, and terminations
- Robust knowledge and experience with federal and state employment law, including (but not limited to) CA, IL, and TX
- International HR experience, Americas and APJ regions ideal
- HR change management experience
- Experience with mergers & acquisitions
- Approaches work with a positive attitude, sense of urgency, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge and experience with talent management, employee benefits, and compensation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, candidates, stakeholders, and team members
- Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive company and employee information
- Skilled in using enterprise HRIS and project management systems; Zenefits, Darwinbox, Asana preferred
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
