We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department with various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support HR staff in organizing employee training sessions
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed
- Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Understanding of FMLA regulations and leave management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is a plus
