 Analyzes, designs, and troubleshoots an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. Uses defined policies and procedures to evaluate and design new IT systems or enhance existing systems to integrate with current and future needs. Tests and evaluates the compatibility and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks, and applications. Designs models and utilizes analysis and solution development methods, including process maps, flow charts, and diagrams. Supports management with project planning, risk assessment, and project tracking to deliver timely IT solutions within budget. May create coding and logic specifications for developers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The HRIS Systems Analyst II is a strategic business partner that utilizes technology to support business requirements by developing and maintaining forward-thinking solutions to cross-functional challenges.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for all HR systems maintenance, initial configuration, redesign, data integrity, testing, report writing, data analysis, workflow configuration, ensuring scalability, identifying and supporting performance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide consultation to internal teams while working with external vendors to evaluate, select and implement HRIS software solutions, identify requirements, and conduct impact analysis.
  • Plans, designs, develops, tests, deploys, delivers, and maintains HRIS apps, dashboards and reporting across the organization.
  • Designs, implements, and maintains HRIS security access policies, processes, and procedures for restricted and non-restricted user access; creates and maintains related documentation.
  • Design, implement, document and maintain disaster recovery plan of the HRIS systems.
  • Coordinate new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing warehouse structures, review business requests for data and data usage, define and assess input formats and layouts, maintain and refresh data load into data systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business leaders to support growth in HR areas through a strong knowledge of HR principles and established analytical methods.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert of the systems to build relationships with key business users and third-party vendors as needed to ensure that the services and solutions provided meet current and future business needs.
  • Remain current with new and emerging technologies and make recommendations on their adoption.
  • Configure, redesign, test and validate system modifications including required and optional updates, calculating fields, updating unique client-defined fields, modifying notifications, redesigning workflows, conditional rules and reporting.
  • Investigates and resolves complex system-related issues and quickly escalates to management upline to ensure efficient resolution; effectively manages internal and external support staffs and resources in support of project cost containment. 
  • Ensures that data is accurately processed and maintained according to organization rules and applicable regulations by running queries, analyzing data, preparing data and presenting reports and dashboards.
  • Facilitates sessions for education and training; creates and oversees the creation of job aids, training videos and other resources in alignment with effective change management practices.
  • Troubleshoots and updates HRIS systems; configures and makes changes to improve user experience and/or satisfy business requirements.


YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing and building data structures for databases, data warehouses and / or data marts, preferred experience in HR Systems Solutions. 
  • Five+ (5+) years of professional level system admin experience, including at least three (3) years of experience with HRIS systems.
    • Proven critical thinking skills and ability to think out of the box. 
    • Tangible organizational and problem-solving skills.

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science, HRIS or in lieu of the specified degree a combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Experience with HR systems, preferably some of the following: Avature, Cornerstone, ADP-Vantage and Asure.
  • Industry experience or similar environment.
