A day in the life of an HRIS Manager
- Develops, revises and implements employment policies, procedures and practices to ensure regulatory compliance and to support company business goals and strategies
- Promotes positive employee engagement by working closely with Operations and the Benefits Analyst to coordinate employee events and wellness activities
- Handles the recruitment process for all senior level management positions, and office positions, including posting son job boards, reviewing resumes, phone screening applicants as needed and working closely with hiring managers
- Initiates and audits talent acquisition processes and applicant tracking software, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure the best systems and processes are in place to attract top talent and fill open positions in a timely manner
- Oversees the new hire onboarding process and onboards new hires
- Manages the HRIS Specialist, providing guidance on projects, ensuring projects are on schedule and quality work is being produced
Requirements for the HRIS Manager position
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources role, preferably as an HR Generalist
- Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management, or Administration, or similar degree; or an Associate’s degree with more than 15 years of working experience in Human Resources
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with direct and/or indirect reports
- 5+ years of working experience with HRIS to lead, mentor and develop and HRIS Specialist
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of HRMS; UKG/Kronos knowledge a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and experience to develop reports and create presentations
