Summary: Responsible for HR Data Quality to include keying of data and auditing to ensure data accuracy and overseeing activities which ensure compliance to federal and state laws along with Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board Policies. Responsible for completing various employment forms and providing direct support for various HR systems.
Essential Duties: (These duties represent a sample and may vary by position.)
- Perform quality control audits of Lawson data to ensure accuracy of HR data.
- Develop and prepare documentation and pertinent recommendations for employment action to HR administrator pertaining to record issues.
- Perform E-Verify checks; interprets information received from E-Verify checks and takes appropriate actions by contacting employees to resolve immigration issues.
- Perform HR regulatory compliance audits as necessary in the areas of responsibility and communicates changes to CMS administrators.
- Ensure adherence to CMS policies along with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidential files and reports as required by DOT and CMS Board policies.
- Monitor all new/rehire employee compliance requirements and follow up with employees who do not complete all requirements.
- Review and accurately process pertinent hire and job related changes submitted into Lawson.
- Audits and tracks pending document and follows up on questionable data for updating Lawson.
- Maintain database to track verifications.
- Enter data for major projects as needed.
- Answer telephone calls and monitor HR email to provide support to applicants and employees.
- Complete employment verifications.
- Complete loan forgiveness forms.
- Complete NC Transfer forms
- Provide technical support for all HR systems
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum
- Two years of college or related work experience
- Two years of data entry or related work experience
Desirable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area
- Five years of HR experience, data entry or related work experience
