Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Information System Clerk is responsible for inputting all Human Resources related data into the current HRIS and reviewing output for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Superior computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Previous experience working with an HRIS preferred
- Previous Human Resources experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, team player, adaptable, willing to learn
License Requirements:
Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming licenses
Essential Job Functions:
- Enters and updates data into the current HRIS system for use by HR and Management. Sample list includes:
- Processing all Personnel Action Notices
- Entering/tracking Coaching and Counseling forms
- Entering/tracking Performance Appraisals
- Processing contractual increases
- Reviews and verifies information entered into database to ensure accuracy
- Tracks documents received and completion dates
- Produces weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to include employee census, turnover, status reports, etc.
- Produces requested reports for purposes of legal compliance, record keeping, compensation/pay equity, employee relations, performance management, terminations, health and safety, benefits eligibility, etc.
- Assists in carrying out various HR programs to include employee celebrations, health fair, holiday party, etc.
- Assigned special projects as needed
- Other general duties as assigned
