Parts Supply Chain Group is responsible for the daily distribution of service parts and accessories towards more than 3000 dealers spread over Europe. Besides the EDC in Diest- Belgium, PSCG also has 13 local logistic companies in Europe to secure on time delivery to our customers.

For our Location in Cologne-Germany we are looking for a local (Senior) Specialist Human Resources.

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

The (Senior) Specialist HR is the operational HR Leader and the Employee Champion in the local depot You'll play an important role in the further growth of our local depot and in unleashing people's and the organizational potential

As a respected person, she/he is a discrete and trustfully social partner for the local union on site. The incumbent of the position is responsible for the implementation and timely completion of all the HR processes within the depot. In addition, he/she coaches line management in realizing their business plan by translating it into organizational initiatives and HR projects that add value to the business' performance.

 

Reporting line : Local Depot/Site Manager.

Manpower : 55-60 warehouse employees including Supervision and 6-7 office people.

 

  • Act as the trusted single point of contact for employees and management
  • Establish and maintain constructive relations with line management, employees and unions in order to optimize information exchange
  • Master and stay aware of the country & regional (new) legislations on all HR practices
  • Lead the local union meetings (Works Council and Trade Union Delegation) and the yearly BSR process through building of mutual trust and respect with internal and external stakeholders
  • Respond, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and advising how to handle
  •  HR ambassador and a proactive champion in excellent execution of HR processes (hiring requests, headcount tracking, appraisals, moderation, development committee, etc.)
  • Play a key role in increasing member engagement in the depot together with line management
  • Monitor the career progression assignments and individual development plans (member development program) through unleashing people's potential
  • Actively support Depot manpower availability improvement activities
  • Supervision of pay roll and every compensation and benefits processes within TPCDE
  • Supports line management in managing their resources to achieve business objectives
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, career development, etc.)
  • Drives, develops and executes HR communication in our Regional Depot Operations
  • Diagnose the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing local HR processes, policies and systems and communicate improvement actions to the respective expert teams of corporate HR
  • Implementation of individual measures, such as working contract, warning letter, termination agreement) in accordance with current labor law

Your Profile
  • You are fluent in German and English
  • Master in Business, Economics, Administration or HR Management
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in a unionized blue-collar environment
  • Passionate about people and empathetic
  • Creative thinker and eager to find solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work with all levels in the organisation
  • Excellent organisation & project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Efficient, objective driven and can work independently
  • Ability to analyse and interpret HR data and to make recommendations based on it
