Techstaff, the Technical Placement Specialists, has an exciting temporary assignment available(90-120+ days) to assist the City of Tampa Human Resources Department with the the sourcing and onboarding of their annual summer workforce of approximately 300 employees. This position will work from City Hall at 306 E Jackson Street Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM as well as a few events that are being planned for non-traditional hours. Evening events (2 to 3) 5 pm to 7 pm. Saturday events (2 to 4) 8 am to 12 pm.
Duties include:
Perform hiring processes for the Parks and Recreation Departments’ Seasonal applications of over 200 applications in JobAps. Collaborate with staff to contact and schedule the Seasonal New Hire’s to complete background and New Hire paperwork.
Support Employment Services Specialist by reviewing applications through screening processes while maintaining departmental and City of Tampa policy.
Perform screening of applications utilizing JobAps application tracking system.
Assisted in projects which require attention to detail, time management, collaboration, and foresight.
Prior experience with high volume hiring, interviewing and onboarding is required.
