HR Recruiter – Professional/Technical
I. Position Purpose/Scope: What are the key objectives of the position?
Conducts full lifecycle recruiting activities for Non-Exempt and Exempt positions, including recruitment and placement for internal talent programs. Primary objective is to partner with hiring manager to effectively source, recruit, evaluate, interview and select top talent to meet Plant Spartanburg's staffing needs.
II. Position Responsibilities/Accountabilities: List the major duties/accountabilities to achieve the positions key objectives.
- Manages the recruiting activities for all Non-Exempt and Exempt positions in various departments throughout the company including both internal and external hires.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws related to selection and hiring processes.
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leads.
- Partners with recruiting and cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and implement innovative and effective recruiting strategies to proactively build talent pipelines for the future.
- Leverages online recruiting resources, in-house ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and career fairs to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
- Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Pre-screens candidates.
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Interviews candidates presented by hiring managers through the use of behavioural-based interviewing methodologies.
- Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback and manages follow-up activities with interview teams and candidates.
- Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines.
- Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
- Initiates new hire relocation process.
- Supports coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation.
- Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance topics are addressed.
- Provides relevant reports and presentations.
- Adheres to agree upon targets (i.e. Time to Fill and other targets as assigned).
- Performs other duties as assigned by BMW Group operations supervisor.
III. Position Competencies:
- Education: BS degree in HR, Business or a related discipline.
B)Experience:
- 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing different recruiting sources such as web-based applicant tracking systems, job boards, recruiting agencies, etc.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
