ROLE: HR Manager
LOCATION:- Remote
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers and employees (i.e., coaching, counseling, training, mentoring, disciplinary actions)
- Receive and respond to general HR questions and concerns from managers and employees
- Attend, participate in, and maintain records related to employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Interact with employees to better understand workplace complaints, conduct appropriate investigations, and resolve disputes within situations that might have varying degrees of ambiguity, including excellent follow through and documentation
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Be well-versed on HealthMark CRAFT values, performance and behavior expectations, and progressive disciplinary philosophy
- Develop proficiency in HR tools and programs to be able to support employees and managers in day-to-day activities
- Advise and train managers in best employee relations practices and strategies
- Maintain employee and workplace confidentiality
- Report performance using KPIs and business metrics
- Ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance and other laws, regulations, and requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUISITE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field
- 2+ years professional experience in Human Resources positions
- Successful track record of providing expertise, consultation, guidance and coaching to managers and employees to address sensitive and/or difficult employee behavior and performance concerns
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
- Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in difficult situations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage through ambiguity and change
- Natural problem-solving abilities to improve situations for employees and business objectives
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to successfully relate to all hierarchical levels
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
