Job Description
GCON is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team! Reporting to the VP of HR, this role will work closely with our executive team scaling our organizational success roadmap, playing a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with GCON’s vision. This role is ideal for an HR Manager with a strong inclination to coach and advise managers on best practices, while overseeing employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration, building strong partnerships with business units and serve as the point person for all matters of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs.
- Experience with HRIS Implements or similar systems to facilitate processes and provide data and reporting on HR activity.
- Develops and delivers internal staff communications.
- Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services.
- Maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Comprehensive expertise facilitating personnel actions.
- Manages key HR functions, including employee/labor relations, immigration, diversity, and employee records.
- Develops human resources policies and programs.
- Maintains employee records accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Shares and implements best practices for employee engagement, productivity, and company objectives.
- Evaluates, selects, and manages relationships with vendors to provide supplemental HR processes and services.
- Collaborates with leadership on special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, business, psychology, communications. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience with at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial role.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Human Resources strategies for performance management, talent development, total rewards, and organizational effectiveness.
- Society of Human Resource Manager’s (SHRM) Certification.
- Current valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proliant Readypayonline and Benefit Admin Software.
- Experience with the Predictive Index.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
