1. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop and improve employee onboarding processes to effectively orientate new hires.
- Support the development of our Employer Value Proposition
- Collaborate with hiring managers on resource planning and build robust talent pipelines.
- Design and Implement training and development programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the business leaders on training needs analysis and action planning.
- Support the development and advancement of career frameworks.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor.
- Maintain a positive work environment by promoting open communication and engagement.
- Lead and collaborate on employee engagement initiatives, including measurement and action planning.
- Ensure fairness and compliance with core HR policies around equality, discipline, dispute resolution and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- When at scale ensure all filings and procedures are in place including EEOC, ACA, FMLA, FLSA and partner as appropriate with Finance on any Tax related matters.
- Develop compliant policies and stay abreast of law development across the Western Hemisphere locations, to update policies, ensuring rigor on the annual HR compliance calendar.
- As we scale this will be a hands-on part of the role leveraging our HR ERP and other systems. You should expect to be involved end to end in all hiring, onboarding, employee records and documentation, addressing employee queries and HR tickets via the ERP.
- Use data /reporting from our ERP and other sources as a means of process improvement, insights, and action planning.
- You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and security of employee information.
- You will have the opportunity to support continuous process improvement and HR automation.
- Work with the external benefits partners to design and administer compliant, competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of total rewards.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement recognition and incentive programs aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local colleges and educations partners.
- Collaborate with economic bodies.
- Represent the organization in community events and HR forums.
1. Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably a certified course in HR, I/O Psychology, Business or Masters
- SHRM Qualified
- Minimum 10 years HR experience of which at least 3 years are in HR Management.
- Significant exposure to HR best practices in Canada and Latin America is highly desirable.
- Experience of building and scaling up, establishing processes and best practice will be an advantage for this role.
- Ability to travel without any major visa restrictions due to citizenship.
- Coordinate HR-related issues with local management.
- Manage the HR reps in Territories.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensure employee satisfaction and engagement.
