Form of workThe Ingredion HR Team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic college student to join the organization for an internship during Summer 2024 . In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various members Leaders of Corporate Functions and HR areas to facilitate, provide support and guidance to achieve and impact in the HR Goals of each function. We are looking for someone with a great service attituded, focus result, data analysis who has a strong initiative to improve status-quo and incorporate change in a dynamic and agile work environment.
As a Corporate FunctionsHR Intern, your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting and coordinating on-boarding process for Corporate Functions employees.
• HR Support: Assistance and follow up to HR Tickets through the HR Connect Portal and Workday solutions.
• Tracking, analyzing and updating monthly HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Corporate Functions.
• Analyzing, generating reports and solutions related to salary information of new hires and internal promotions according to our compensation guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Center of Excellence (COE) of Communications to draft organizational announcements related to new hires, talent acquisition process, structure changes or internal promotions within the Corporate Functions.
• Improving our employee experience, providing support and follow up for retirement process of every employee of Corporate Functions.
• Improving our employee experience, providing support and follow up for EXPAT employees of Global Operations & Supply Chain.
The Corporate FunctionsHR Intern position is well-suited for you if you:
• Are well organized and have the ability to prioritize workloads.
• Are a creative problem solver and critical thinking.
• Are technically proficient and utilize technology: PBI and Excel in efficient ways
• Have outstanding service and focus results.
• Are able to work both independently as well in a team.
• Adaptable to different leadership styles.
Qualified candidates will have:
• Progress towards a bachelor's or master's degree program in Human Resources, Business, Economics or a related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred
• Ability to work 40 hrs. per week during the year internship term over the summer
• Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Outstanding attention to detail with verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must:
• Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Ingredion does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position or to provide this position as OPT or CPT.
• Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree Program (with an HR focus). If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
