RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all the applicable laws
- The HR Generalist will be responsible for the onboarding process including scheduling pre-employment physicals, background checks, TB test, drug test, coordinating completion of the I-9 and conducting new hire orientations Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining required documentation in personnel files between our HR system
- Administration of all employee transfers, leave of absence, change of status and change of employee information
- Collection of new hire information for payroll, entering information into the Employee Navigator system and the Timekeeping system
- Filing of documents pertaining to employee personnel files, medical files, and work compensation files
- Answering and assisting employees and agencies with employment and wage verification forms and questions
- Communication with employees about any issues, questions, and concerns regarding HR
- Conducting disciplinary or complaint investigations
- Additional Duties as assigned
- Follow up on delinquent invoices
- Post invoices into QuickBooks system
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- Fact-checking accounting data
- Ensure all general accounting functions are entered and journalized in a timely and correct manner for all designated operations
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with Microsoft applications (i.e., word, excel, outlook, etc.)
- Experience with QuickBooks
