Hr Generalist

Metro Services is immediately hiring an HR Generalist for a well-known Automotive company in Chattanooga, TN. The HR Generalist will provide support to facility employees by focusing on accuracy and efficiency in administering the VPC payroll and HR processes to drive activities that support our contributors' understanding of the company culture and, the 5 values and 5 products. • Enters New Hire and Contract Employee information into appropriate system(s)
• Process payroll data, termination calculations, employee tax data updates, and general deductions
• Review payroll/time reporting information
• Compile data from time sheets and other records
• Transfer hours across departments as required
• Monitor Kronos inputs for accurate calculating and coding
• Monitor computer reports for problems or errors
• Maintain employee payroll files and databases to meet legal requirements
• Review employee payroll records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Run balancing reports and create batch summaries and adjustment sheets
• Review available PTO
• Monitor employee attendance and provide notice when violations warrant corrective action
• Assists with HR administrative functions, such as maintaining files, preparing anniversary and birthday cards, and data entry
• Monitor benefit eligibility and ensure employees are aware of eligibility, deadlines, etc.

$28.00/hour

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• Must have Clean Background
• Must pass Drug Screen
• Must have a Valid Drivers License
• Must have High School Diploma
