HR Driver and Trainer, Yellowstone General Stores

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Trainer and HR Van Driver to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles to safely transport associates to various destinations on and off our property while also training and supporting our associates in delivering the best guest service possible. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for the outdoors, and is experienced in delivering high-quality guest service. 

Pay

Minimum pay rate: $15.00 / hour

Responsibilities 

• Transport associates in a safe manner.
• Ensure that proper maintenance is performed on the van and reports any mechanical or safety problems to management.
• Follow regularly assigned routes and schedules.
• Work with team and help plan daily team member driving activities. 
• Maintains accurate record keeping of passengers census.
• Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately.
• Maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
• Learn all training modules in order to effectively train incoming associates.
• Lead training sessions for all associates, be able to recognize when additional support and training is required, and able to adapt your training style to help the associate better understand.
• Assist in train-the-trainer for store supervisory team members for on-site module completion. 
• Track the completion of trainings and provide updates to our compliance team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to safely operate and drive a van.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Ability to main a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical. 

Physical Requirements 

• Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night.
• Must be able to sit for long periods.
• Must be able to stand and bend.
• Must be able to hear traffic and security radio.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver luggage averaging 50 pounds.
