Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, is responsible for assisting in the coordination of a variety of HR functions.
Responsibilities
HRIS
1 Entry of all employee changes into HRIS including license and certifications, pending workers to employees, completion of employee data, annual education data load, HR filing, training updates
2 Monitors license expiration report
3 Job description updates and other HRIS data entry
4 Primary user of leave management system and assists all staff with leave related inquiries
Administrative Tasks
1 Ensures all HR policies and forms are updated and placed on the policies portal
2 Utilizes HR electronic filing system to store and retrieve employee data
3 Assists Director of HR with tasks as requested
4 Assists with HR Reporting as requested
5 Effectively utilizes all HR technologies
Recruiting/Onboarding
1 Ensures new staff are cleared to start employment
2 Assists with all recruitment and onboarding tasks as needed
3 Effectively utilizes Taleo to complete recruiting and onboarding tasks
4 New hire paperwork and badge creation as needed for all volunteers, students, contractors, and employees
5 Process all temporary and contractors in the same manner as employees
Other
1 Coordination of Orientation and monthly training
2 Coordinates Turner House
3 Ensures that confidentiality is maintained with regard to all personnel actions and record
Qualifications
Experience in HR preferred, but not required. On the job training available for the right candidate.
