Job Duties
- Provide clerical support and assistance for the Human Resources Department.
- Greeting employees and applicants and attending to their human resources-related needs while present.
- Assist with preparing and processing New Hire paperwork/ documents.
- Performing employee labor relations functions, such as, sending flowers to employee on behalf of Easterseals for bereavement purposes.
- Sorting and distributing departmental mail and messages on a daily basis. Preparing mass mailings when necessary.
- Filing and maintaining personnel files. Record retention management and copying files when needed.
- Supporting use of Yammer to drive company culture, communication, and engagement.
- Entering Evidence Based Practice training and CDTS training hours for medical staff and other clinical staff.
- Assist in supporting Credentialing & Privileging ensuring all required documentation is on file
- Run background checks for candidates, volunteers, interns, and existing staff information, and other data entry needs relative to system implementation and changes.
- Provide clerical support and report writing relative to the Safety, Health & Accessibility Team.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four (4) years of responsible full time clerical experience, including two (2) years in an administrative assistant capacity supporting human resources functions strongly preferred.
- Considerable ability and skill in recognizing and correcting departures from routine departmental practices and procedures.
- Considerable ability to interact and communicate with the general public.
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills with the ability to work on several priorities simultaneously, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
