Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources/Admin Assistant to join our team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and administration who wants to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
HR Duties:
- General HR duties and adminsitrative duties
- Assist with the administration of HR programs and processes, including benefits administration, FMLA, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records, employee file setup and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist with conflict management and resolution.
- Payroll backup, using QuickBooks payroll system
- Support the admin team in various projects and initiatives.
Admin Duties:
- Customer invoicing and financing
- Cash flow reporting
- File customer set-up
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Office Administration or Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role or related administrative position.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of OSHA and BWC regulations is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
