Overview:
The Housing Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Transitional Housing Program.
Responsibilities:
- Convey a positive attitude towards job related relationships
- Conduct self in a professional manner in all work related functions
- Responsibility for general office duties as it relates to organizational needs of managing the Transitional Housing Program
- Responsibility for effective inter-agency communication
- Responsibility for maintaining & updating files
- Assist bookkeeper with maintaining financial records
- Utilize appropriate procedures for documenting housing payments
- Follow correct procedures in reviewing payment accommodations
- Promote effective facility communications
- Participate in continuing education opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school education, good communication skills, organizational skills, computer experience are preferred
- Ability to communicate orally, to maintain confidentiality, and to facilitate timely processing of housing applications, inspections, and property owner payment
