Housekeeping/Laundry Aide/Caregiver For Assisted Living Community

The primary purpose of the Laundry Aide is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities of the Laundry Aide:

• Sort soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc., and place in appropriate containers or assigned areas in the laundry room and separate all items that require special stain removal/treatment
• Wash and dry soiled linen, laundry, and garments
• Fold, count, stack, hang and distribute clean laundry, linen, garments, etc., to residents daily
• Keep Laundry room floors clean
• Clean walls and ceilings of laundry rooms as necessary
• Turn in all unidentified laundry, linens, garments, etc., to lost and found
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers

. Requirements:
of the Laundry Aide:

• Laundry experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
• Show kindness and respect toward residents, family members, visitors

Pay: $17.00 per hour
