Job Description:
Housekeeping Managers are responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations to include but are not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service, and product quality standard of guestrooms. Inspecting all guest rooms and public space areas of the hotel to ensure standards are met. Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensure guest requests are met, and communicate guest complaints to the appropriate department to obtain a satisfactory resolution for the guest. Floor Managers will uphold all safety regulations and procedures as well as hotel policies and all other duties as assigned. This person must have good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Floor Managers assist the Director and the Assistant Director of Housekeeping with the management of the housekeeping department. Guides staff in maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and quality service, exceeding guest expectations and hotel standards in a friendly, professional manner. additional responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling of employees, and inventory control.
Requirements:
- Positions require working weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted throughout your shift.
- Must have the ability to pull and push a moderate amount of weight up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to kneel, stoop and bend.
- Prolonged standing required.
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule.
- Must have good verbal English communication skills and the ability to read English.
- Thorough knowledge of all matters relating to the proper administration and operation of hospitality housekeeping operations
- 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced, hotel housekeeping environment
- Ability to maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
- Effective management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Opera, Hotsos

Pay: $58,500.00 per year
