Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the resort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality.

Housekeeping Manager Job Description

Overview:

The Housekeeping Manager will serve as the lead for all park bathhouses, cottages, wagons, and pool area bathrooms. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of housekeepers. Ensures park’s accommodations are clean and comfortable for guests and that guests have a flawless experience from check-in to check-out of any cottage or wagon. Also handles administrative work, leads a team of housekeepers, and handles any housekeeping complaints.

Job Duties:

• Work closely with the Operations Manager and other department managers to meet the goals and objectives of the resort.
• Hiring, training and managing housekeeping staff.
• Developing and implementing cleaning and maintenance standards for all areas of responsibility.
• Inspects cleanliness of all housekeeping areas to ensure they are following Splash’s cleanliness standards.
• Scheduling staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of labor resources.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and park policies related to housekeeping.
• Ensures all cottages / wagons are ready for check-in time.
• Ensures a consistent guest experience that focuses on guest satisfaction.
• Resolves guest complaints in a professional, consistent manner.

Experience/Education/Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices. Including proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and tools.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to successfully lead and manage others.
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
