At Weller, we have a key contributor, full-time position available. The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping all public use areas and vacant apartments clean and ready for tours. This position is also responsible for providing timely, professional, and quality service to residents.
Building a strong cohesive daytime family, this key contributor will apply solid skills and experience in this hands-on role to include:
- Maintain leasing office, models, clubhouses, public, and common interior areas of the property in a neat, clean, attractive condition.
- Perform all work necessary to bring and maintain vacated units to rent ready condition in a timely manner.
- Utilizes cleaning chemicals and at times equipment to complete tasks, meeting quality standards.
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning counter tops, appliances, bathrooms and polishing.
- Monitor public restrooms throughout the day for cleanliness and adequate supplies.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notify Property Manager on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Assists in responding professionally to any complaints/requests.
- Orders housekeeping supplies and monitors inventory.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years directly related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and write English required.
- Experienced in customer service.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks.
- Attentive to detail.
- Adherence to company standards.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
This position has physical requirements that are essential functions of the job to include pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and lifting that must be met by an employee to successfully perform job functions.
