INTRODUCTION
The Housekeeping Inspector reviews and inspects housekeeping and designated areas to ensure a positive guest experience. Responsible for ensuring high attention to detail and focus on guest impact as it relates to property standards.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

- Inspects rooms, verify designated areas exceed the standard, reports status and may report or update the system to ensure areas are guest ready.
- Provides assistance in housekeeping, laundry, and houseman departments, including coaching, staff development, process improvements, and work support
- Assists in training of new hires in housekeeping, houseman, and laundry departments.
- Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action
- Responds to guest requests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
- Examines building to determine the need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management
- Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest ready.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides regular and reliable attendance
WHAT YOU BRING
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The hospitality environment is fast-paced, and at times you may be required to cover or assist with tasks/job functions outside of the job you were hired for.
