As a Housekeeper, you will clean guest rooms to the highest company standards with thoroughness and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
· Clean and maintain rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and other areas to meet franchise, management, and health standards.
· Vacuum, shampoo, and clean carpets, rugs, furniture, and draperies.
· Empty and clean trash receptacles, ashtrays, and dispose of waste.
· Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using appropriate equipment.
· Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
· Stock and organize storage areas and carts.
· Polish chrome and metal fixtures, replace light bulbs, set up meeting rooms, and clean kitchens, dishes, utensils, and silverware in suites and kitchenettes as required.
· Replenish supplies in rooms and restrooms.
· Assist with occasional laundry tasks.
· Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed.
· Report maintenance issues and work orders to the Maintenance Engineer.
· Deliver cribs and rollaway beds to guest rooms.
· Disinfect equipment and supplies following hotel guidelines.
· Rotate mattresses as per hotel guidelines.
· Observe security measures and report any damage, theft, or found items.
· Transport linens, towels, and supplies using carts or appropriate methods.
· Inspect rooms for pests and report findings promptly.
· Perform additional duties as directed by management.
· Maintain professional and effective communication with supervisors and colleagues.
· Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues.
· Follow all department, hotel, and management company policies, procedures, and standards diligently.
- Comply with safety and OSHA requirements.
- Ensure a clean and professional working environment.
- Arrive for scheduled shifts in proper uniform and attire.
- Direct questions or concerns to the Team Captain or Executive Housekeeper.
- Follow “We Love Guests” philosophy.
Requirements:
- Guest and Personal Service - Provide exceptional guest service by actively seeking opportunities to assist guests.
- Effective communication skills - Listen attentively, ask appropriate questions, and meet guest needs.
- Language Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reasoning Ability - Strong problem-solving skills, data collection, fact establishment, and logical reasoning.
- Certificates/Licenses - Obtain required franchise certifications within the given timeframe. Willingness to participate in training seminars and webinars as required by the hotel, franchisor, and management company.
- Trunk Strength - Ability to consistently and effectively use abdominal and lower back muscles without fatigue. Must be capable of standing for extended periods.
- Wrist-Finger Speed - Proficiency in making rapid and repetitive movements with fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Lifting - Occasional ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds,
