Hotel Herringbone, an exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Waco, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and impeccable presentation of our 21 guestrooms and suites, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and inviting stay at Waco’s premiere hospitality experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including but not limited to…)

• Perform thorough cleaning of guestrooms and suites, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guestroom amenities.
• Ensure that each room is cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Report any maintenance issues or guest requests to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage and supply areas.
• Adhere to hotel cleaning procedures and standards to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to prioritize room assignments and daily tasks.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all aspects of the role.
• Comply with hotel policies and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with additional cleaning duties as needed in public areas and other hotel spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

HOURS & COMPENSATION: There are both full-time and part-time positions with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $17 to $19 per hour, commensurate with experience.
