Housekeeper Luxury Condo

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7am-3:30am and Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-5pm

Duties and Essential Functions

• Clean hallways, lobby, break room appliances, common rooms (Training room, Conference Rooms) and other work areas so that health standards are met.

• Clean desks and cubicle areas, copier machines, door handles and doors

• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.

• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

• Report any and all maintenance items that include, but is not limited to, burned out lights, leaks, broken equipment to the Office Manager.

• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.

• Dust window blinds.

Work Environment

The janitor performs their work in n office setting.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk and climb stairs, climb ladders, crawl in small and tight spaces; stoop and/or kneel; lift and/or move and/or carry up to 20 pounds in the work environment.

• Ability to push cleaning equipment up to 30 lbs.

• Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.

• Ability to reach with hands and arms.

• Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Non-exempt part-time position (hourly)

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience working in the role of housekeeper, janitor.

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and how to properly use them.

• Ability to use standard cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, cleaning cart, etc.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
