Houeskeeping
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
Experience:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Skills:
- Floor care: Experience in maintaining various types of flooring surfaces (carpet, hardwood, tile, etc.)
- Hospitality: Knowledge of providing excellent customer service in a hospitality setting
- Industrial cleaning: Experience in cleaning large industrial spaces or facilities
- Housekeeping management: Ability to oversee and manage a team of housekeepers
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards
- Custodial: Understanding of custodial duties and responsibilities in a commercial setting
