Summary of Position:
The Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter duties are rigorous and routine cleaning of the Club interior including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning countertops, cleaning bathrooms, replacing garbage liners, and cleaning windows
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter follows and completes daily cleaning schedule.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter take inventory and stock of all cleaning and toiletry supplies and replace as necessary.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter clean building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and vacuuming as needed.
- Gather and empty trash receptacles.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows and mirrors with proper cleaning care.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to exact specifications.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and property.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs to the building or Club property.
- Remove debris from driveways and all public areas both inside and outside.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter observe precautions required to protect Club and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Must have legal right to work in the United States.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter must able to work Saturday, Sunday from 11:00 Am to 7:00 PM, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Experience working in housekeeping role.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter must be able to communicate clearly with managers and all other personnel.
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter must be proficient in English (Spanish is a plus!)
- Housekeeper’s and/or Day Porter must be able to stand, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds for up to 8 hours on a daily basis.
