Essential Functions:
*Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the Hospital.
- Performs daily and terminal cleaning, replenishes supplies and reports necessary repairs of all patient care and ancillary areas (including patient rooms, washrooms, exam rooms, lobbies, offices, etc) to ensure a safe, sanitary and attractive environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Collects, transports, processes and disposes of all type of regular, hazardous and medical waste throughout the facility following established policies and procedures to assure that all waste disposal is performed in compliance with all regulatory agencies and to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Extracts and spin clean carpets.Washes walls, ceilings, lights, spray buffs, scrubs, and refinishes hard/tile floors.Shampoos upholstered furniture.Performs other project cleaning all surfaces in order to maintain the quality of cleanliness with the facility.

- Performs other tasks as assigned according to the demands of the department.
