Hotel Restaurant Cook

Cheerleader Pub and Grill here at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Jefferson City is looking for culinary minds to join our restaurant team. We are currently ranking in the top 20 IHG hotels in the country and are looking for other success minded people to help continue to grow the business.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Monitor food supplies and ingredients, and order as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and organize service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food industry preferred but we will train the right person
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including knives
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
