JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Person is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance, repair and working order of the hotel including the interior and exterior of the building, guest rooms, common areas, parking lot, landscaping and grounds.
The Maintenance Person must be able to work independently and with others including staff, guests, vendors, inspectors and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities include completing work orders, repair tasks, preventative maintenance duties, equipment maintenance and repair, maintaining all equipment in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-the house, conducting monthly safety inspections, following safety and emergency procedures, and performing these tasks to a superior level of performance.
The Maintenance Person assists the Maintenance Manager Conduct monthly maintenance inventories, performs the regular and special duties assigned by supervisors and must be willing and able to respond to emergencies, even if after hours.
