Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Housekeeper. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in housekeeping management and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality services.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain 18 guest rooms, ensuring they are tidy, organized, and presentable
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities as needed
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing cleaning tasks
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
