The Springhill Suites by Marriott in Grapevine is seeking Guest Service Representatives to start immediately. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring 100% guest satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they depart.
The position available is for the MORNING shift 7pm to 3pm. Must be available to work Monday - Sunday, (rotating schedule), have a TX License and be willing to drive shuttle the van.
This is a FULL-TIME position.
The customer service-oriented staff will:
-Check guests into and out of the hotel
-Inform guests about hotel facilities/services, fulfill their requests during their stay, answer telephone inquiries, make reservations, and other duties as necessary.
-Post charges and handle cash and credit card transactions. Maintain balance of cash bank and other duties as assigned.
-Manage and resolve all guest complaints (and compliments) in a professional and courteous manner.
-Maintain guest accounts: guest checks, master accounts, vouchers, gift certificates, etc.
-Ensure that the back office, Front Desk, lobby and other common areas are clean and well organized.
-Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff and management in a professional manner.
-Initiate, monitor and accurately complete shift checklists for proper completion of tasks.
-Provide effective communication to all departments.
-Effectively coordinate relocation of guests when necessary.
-Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
-Perform other tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
-Strong customer service skills.

-Resolve problems in professional manner.
-Valid TX Drivers License for guest shuttle
-Willingness to drive Shuttle Van

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
