Host/Hostess

Host/Hostess General Responsibilities:

• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; water glasses
• Identify guests at arrival
• Inform guests of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
• Manage the flow of guests into the dining room and bar area, provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if needed.
• help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages

Requirements:

• An appetite for learning
• flexibility to work a variety of shifts
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
• Must possess great guest relations skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Mount Airy, NC 27030: Relocate before starting work (Required)
