Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the establishment
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus to guests and explain daily specials
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Process payments and manage cash register using POS system (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
