Host/Hostess

We are seeking a Host or Hostess to join our restaurant team as guests' first point of contact. The job responsibilities include greeting guests, providing clear and accurate wait times, and guiding customers to their tables. A passion for customer service and strong communication and organizational skills are required. You are the first impression of our restaurant that will help provide a pleasant and smooth dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet each guest with sincere warmth and enthusiasm as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage seating organization tools to ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner.
• Communicate with all team members to ensure efficient shift operation.
• Talk to guest and contribute to the experience.
• Quote wait times properly and ensure guests are notified of additional delays.
• Acknowledge guests who seem to be irritated by a long wait or other challenges at the front door or waiting area.
• Have a thorough knowledge of seating layout of the restaurant.
• Take care of responsibilities of the position and help others when possible.
• Keep the work area clean and all equipment in good repair.
• Thank each guest and welcome them to return.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
