Restaurant Host/Hostess
Longshot Hospitality is hiring for The Salt Line Ballston, which opened this past fall. A host greets guests, seats guests, and helps answer phones, provide information to guests, and book reservations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Knowledgeable and able to communicate restaurant menu items and daily specials
- Accurately plots all daily reservations
- Delivers guests to table, makes sure guests are okay where they are seated and comfortable
- Make sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals (e.g. utensils, condiments, napkins, etc.)
- Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with tables and location they are sat
- Responds to additional customer requests
- May assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
- Prepares table and maintains table cleanliness throughout service
- Communicates with the kitchen, bussers, food runners, bartenders and managers
- Maintains side work throughout shift
- Attends required trainings and meetings
- Delivers an exceptional experience through outstanding hospitality and food service to the guests
- Safeguard cash and credit card information received by customers for payment of services

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated to be eligible for employment
- Education and/or Experience - Prior restaurant experience is preferred
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - TIPS Certification preferred
- Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
