SalaryRocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking a talented Dining Room Host or Hostess with a dynamic personality to deliver excellence in service to our guests. Your goal is to provide outstanding service and knowledge to ensure guests receive a memorable experience for each and every meal. You will work collaboratively with top Culinary Institute of America graduates.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner; always with a smile.
- Plan table seating charts.
- Take dining reservations for dinner accurately, following daily reservation schedule.
- Always create a pleasant and memorable dining experience.
- Assist dining staff with bussing and setting tables properly in an efficient manner with the highest attention to detail.
- Work closely with Dining Room Management to address all guest concerns immediately
- Engage with guests during service to ensure they are happy.
Qualifications
- 1+ year(s) hosting experience preferred, but willing to train highly motivated candidates
- Excellent Customer Service with a dynamic personality
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the day
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable attention to cleanliness and safety
- Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a true team player
