Host/Hostess

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host station and restaurant exterior
- Monitor the dining area to ensure all guests are attended to and have a positive experience
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
- Have 1+ year of Host/Hostess experience in restaurant fine dining
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service or restaurant operations
- Familiarity with OpenTable, Clover POS, or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
- A friendly and welcoming demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
