Position Summary:
The Host greets all guests with enthusiasm upon arrival, shows guests to their table and bids
them farewell on their way out. The Host works with the manager on duty to give guests the
most accurate wait times and control the overall flow of seating. Additionally, the Host performs
any assigned side work and cleaning duties such as wiping down the front doors, menus,
bathroom checks, etc. as well as assisting fellow teammates to ensure overall guest satisfaction
under the supervision of the management team.
Skills, Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
✓ Time & Attendance – 5 minutes before your scheduled shift, wearing all black.
✓ Adhere to all uniform requirements; maintain a clean and professional appearance, well-
groomed.
✓ Be knowledgeable of any upcoming specials, events, menu changes, weekly focuses, etc.
as dictated by the management team and communicate it to the guest.
✓ Point out the table tent and any promotions featured on the table tent.
✓ Greet and sincerely welcome all guests enthusiastically, when possible hold the front
door open upon entry and exit.
✓ Follow all standard operating procedures.
✓ Answer phones (within two rings), take reservations, answer guest questions, etc.
✓ Perform cleaning duties, bathroom checks, etc.
✓ Help Bartender with To Go order guests
✓ Assist guests at Fresh Food Line with sauce combinations, colored stick options, and
anything else the guest needs assistance with.
✓ Ensure cleanliness of Fresh Food Line, wiping down ledge, maintaining tongs, restocking
taster cups, restocking colored sticks, etc.
✓ Complete any opening and closing side work and any additional projects or
responsibilities as given by the management team
✓ Perform general physical activities including extended use of your arms, legs, and body;
may include climbing, lifting up to 50lbs, balancing, moving, and bending.
✓ Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the duration of your shift
✓ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
✓ Food Handler’s Certificate (ServSafe)
✓ Any additional certificate that may be required in the employers’ city, state, county, etc.
✓ Must pass an E-Verify screening
