Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage waitlists and estimate wait times for guests
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Hospitality and guest relations experience preferred
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling reservations
- Ability to multitask and help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed
- Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems (e.g., Aloha POS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
