We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Runner/Host to join our team. As an employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of food service and customer satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist servers and kitchen staff in delivering food orders to customers promptly and accurately
- Ensure all food items are properly garnished and presented according to company standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures is desirable
